Design Engineer

Role

Design Engineers at Alloy own product experience from interaction concept to production UI. You'll work on the surfaces teams use to capture context, generate prototypes, and collaborate on product decisions.

You might be a fit if...

• You move fluidly between design exploration and frontend implementation.
• You care about interaction quality, information hierarchy, and visual clarity.
• You can build reusable UI systems, not just individual screens.

Sample projects include:

• Designing and implementing editing interactions that make AI-generated prototypes easier to refine.
• Building reusable design patterns across onboarding, captures, and prototype review flows.
• Improving the quality and consistency of marketing and product surfaces on alloy.app.

Alloy is building an AI prototyping workflow for product teams that starts from real product context. We care about speed, quality, and helping teams make better product decisions earlier.

We're a small, talent-dense team with high ownership and fast feedback loops. We work together in person in Sydney.
