How it works

Click "Generate Prototype" from any task, project, or portfolio in Asana. The AI analyzes descriptions, subtasks, custom fields, and attachments to create accurate prototypes. Prototype links automatically appear in comments, keeping everything organized within your existing workflow.

Generate prototypes at any level of your Asana hierarchy:

• Projects: Visualize entire features or campaigns from all project tasks

Prototypes integrate seamlessly with Asana's views - timeline, board, list, and portfolio. Share interactive demos during planning sessions, status updates, or stakeholder reviews without switching tools.

Configure

Either install it directly from the Asana marketplace, or follow these steps:

1. Install Alloy in Asana

Open your desired Asana project, click “Customize” -> "Apps", find "Alloy" and click "Add to project". After that, follow the prompts to authorize your Asana account.

2. Sign in to Alloy

Once redirected, sign in with your Alloy account.

3. Authorize access

Approve Alloy’s access to your Asana workspace so it can read project details, tasks, and descriptions.

4. Start prototyping

Open any task in the connected project and click “Create Prototype”. Fill in the description type and submit — Alloy will instantly generate a clickable prototype linked to your Asana task.
