How it works

Generate prototypes from any insight or finding in Dovetail. Click "Create Prototype" from the insight actions menu to transform research findings into an interactive demo. The AI analyzes the insight description, related highlights, and tags to create a prototype that addresses the identified user need.

Link prototypes back to source research for complete traceability. When you generate a prototype from an insight, it maintains a connection to the original research data, interview clips, and user quotes. This allows teams to understand not just what was built, but why it was built based on actual user feedback.
