Figma

Overview

The Figma integration transforms static designs into functional AI prototypes with a single click. Convert Figma frames, components, and complete flows into interactive experiences that stakeholders can test and validate before development begins. This powerful bridge between design and prototyping eliminates the traditional gap between how something looks and how it works.

Figma's component-based design system provides the perfect foundation for AI prototype generation. Alloy analyzes your design tokens, component properties, and interaction specifications to create prototypes that match your visual designs while adding realistic functionality. Designers can validate interaction patterns and user flows without writing code, while developers receive functional references that go beyond static mockups.

How it works

Generate prototypes directly from the Figma plugin by selecting any frame or component and clicking "Generate Prototype with Alloy." The AI analyzes your design's visual hierarchy, component structure, and any prototyping connections to create an interactive version that preserves your design system while adding intelligent behaviors. The resulting prototype can be viewed in Figma's presentation mode or shared via Alloy's prototype viewer.

Keep prototypes current with automatic regeneration options. When you modify designs in Figma, associated prototypes can be regenerated to reflect changes, ensuring your interactive demos always match the latest visual designs. Feedback from prototype testing informs design iterations, creating a tight feedback loop between design and validation.
