Google Docs

Overview

Prototype from your documents and pages in Google Docs. Transform product specifications, requirements documents, and design briefs into interactive prototypes that bring written ideas to life. Generate prototypes directly from any Google Doc to help stakeholders visualize concepts before development.

The integration analyzes document structure, headings, lists, and embedded content to create accurate prototypes. Whether you're documenting a new feature, outlining a user flow, or writing product requirements, turn static text into interactive experiences that teams can test and validate.

How it works

Use the Alloy add-on in Google Docs to generate prototypes with one click. Select "Generate Prototype" from the Add-ons menu to transform your document into an interactive demo. The AI analyzes headings, bullet points, tables, and embedded images to understand your requirements and create a functional prototype.

Share prototype links directly in document comments for collaborative feedback. When reviewers read your specifications, they can immediately interact with the prototype to understand the proposed solution. This visual validation alongside written requirements leads to better alignment and fewer revisions.

Organize prototypes using Google Drive folders to match your document structure. Prototypes generated from docs automatically inherit sharing permissions, ensuring the right stakeholders have access to both specifications and interactive demos.
