Raycast
Overview
Get quick access to create prototypes and view recently created prototypes directly from Raycast. The integration brings Alloy's AI prototyping to your fingertips with customizable hotkeys, allowing you to generate prototypes from anywhere on your Mac without switching contexts.
Raycast's command palette provides instant access to your prototype library. Search through recent prototypes, quickly copy sharing links, and jump directly to prototype editors. Map your most common prototype actions to hotkeys for lightning-fast workflow integration.
How it works
Alloy adds two powerful commands to your Raycast workspace:
-
Create Prototype: Launch this command, describe what you want to build, and Alloy’s AI will generate a lifelike prototype you can open in your browser.
-
Manage Prototypes: Browse and manage all your existing prototypes, view creation details, and open any design directly from Raycast.
Use Raycast shortcuts or search commands (⌘ + Space → Create Prototype) to generate new prototypes or manage existing ones instantly. The extension connects securely to your Alloy account and syncs all prototypes created on the web, extension, or other integrations.
Configure
Follow these steps to set up Alloy in Raycast:
1. Install the Alloy Extension
Open the Raycast Store and search for Alloy. Click Install Extension.
2. Sign in to Alloy
Launch either command — Create Prototype or Manage Prototypes — and sign in with your Alloy account (any Google account works).
3. Start prototyping
Use the Create Prototype command to describe your product idea. Alloy will instantly generate an interactive prototype and open it in your browser.
Tip: For the best results, include details about your product type, features, and visual style when describing your prototype.
